Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing the FORGE3D website, creating an account, or submitting a request for manufacturing, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.
2. Order Process and Manual Quoting
FORGE3D operates largely on a custom-manufacturing basis.
- Submission: Submitting a 3D schematic (e.g., STL file) via our Armory constitutes a request for a quote, not a binding contract for manufacturing.
- Pricing & Acceptance: We reserve the right to price, accept, or reject any submitted artifact. Prices provided via custom quotes are valid for the duration specified in the quote or until the quote is cancelled by administration.
- Rejections: We reserve the right to reject any artifact that violates our policies, contains non-manifold/unprintable geometry, or exceeds our current manufacturing capabilities.
3. The 24-Hour Grace Period & Refund Policy
Because our products are custom-manufactured specifically for you, they cannot be resold. However, we understand that mistakes happen.
- The 24-Hour Window: You have a strict 24-hour grace period starting from the exact moment your payment is successfully processed to cancel your order and request a full refund.
- How to Cancel: You can cancel your request instantly via your Customer Dashboard. A "Cancel Order" button will be active next to your artifact for exactly 24 hours post-payment. Clicking this will automatically void the request and initiate your refund.
- Post-Grace Period: Once the 24-hour window expires, the cancellation button will automatically disappear from your dashboard. At this stage, the order is locked for manufacturing and cannot be cancelled, and no refunds will be issued.
- Quality Guarantee: If an artifact is delivered with severe structural defects directly caused by our manufacturing process (excluding design flaws inherent to the provided 3D model), please contact us within 7 days of delivery for a review and potential reprint.
4. Intellectual Property & Uploaded Designs
When you upload a 3D model to FORGE3D:
- Ownership: You retain all intellectual property rights to your designs. We do not claim ownership of your uploaded files.
- Your Responsibility: You explicitly warrant that you own the rights to the 3D models you upload, or that you have acquired the appropriate licenses to manufacture them.
- Infringement: FORGE3D assumes no liability for copyright or trademark infringement resulting from files uploaded by users. We reserve the right to reject and purge any files suspected of violating third-party intellectual property rights.
5. Prohibited Items
FORGE3D will strictly refuse to manufacture any of the following:
- Firearms, firearm components, or weapons of any kind.
- Items designed to cause harm, bypass security systems, or facilitate illegal activities.
- Artifacts that promote hate speech, violence, or illegal acts.
6. Limitation of Liability
FORGE3D provides manufacturing services "as is." We are not liable for any damages, injury, or loss resulting from the use, misuse, or structural failure of the 3D printed artifacts we manufacture. It is the user's responsibility to ensure that the materials and structural designs are suitable for their intended use cases.
7. Governing Law
These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
